Solutions Demo Specialist

The Solutions Demo Specialist is responsible for developing and assisting with telemedicine sales opportunities for Avizia products and services.

The Solutions Demo Specialist will be expected to support sales opportunities when needed and should expect to have at least 10 customer interactions per week either in person or over video.  The Solutions Demo Specialist will also support demonstrations at conferences and trade shows.

The position will be located at Avizia’s Scottsdale, AZ office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Regional Sales Managers and under the guidance of the Clinical Solutions team to identify and expand upon telemedicine use cases and service lines within accounts
  • Assist with and conduct targeted sales calls to build customer credibility, promote services, and achieve sales for the field sales team
  • Assist in sales calls and demonstrations with a target of 10 in-person or video customer contacts per week
  • Assist the Clinical Specialist to identify, develop, and build new use cases with customers and across the industry
  • Build and maintain a database of contacts and workflows by account
  • Work with the Regional Sales Managers to thoroughly follow-up on each client commitment - prospecting, qualifying, and developing profitable new account relationships
  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with existing customers
  • Assist the Clinical Specialist to proactively advise and introduce new solutions to solve client’s business needs.
  • Assist in training the sales team on clinical applications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with healthcare and hospital environment
  • Previous telemedicine experience, preferably in hardware and software
  • Strong interest in customer relationships, account management, and account growth
  • Display excellent telephone and interpersonal communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Energetic presence and excellent active listening skills
  • Proven success at building and maintaining relationships
  • Strong organization, time management, and presentation skills
  • Speaking engagements and participation in telemedicine organizations a plus

Additional Information

The position is located indoors in an office environment in our Scottsdale, AZ office.  The incumbent must be able to communicate with other individuals in person, via phone, and through email.  The incumbent may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and the job requires the incumbent to use reasoning and judgment to address and solve business problems.  The incumbent must demonstrate manual dexterity in order to use common office equipment. Applicant may be required to lift up to 10 pounds on an occasional basis.  This position requires 10% - 25% travel, as needed.
